On August 18, 2011, Super Speakers' member Ken Morgan represented District 6 by competing in Toastmasters' International Speech contest in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the semi-finals Ken competed against 7 other speakers from around the world. Ken won his semi-final match and earned the right to compete in the World Championship of Public Speaking finals on August 20th. See picture below of Ken holding is trophy!
In the finals, Ken competed against 8 other contestants from around the world. While he did not place, it is reported that Ken did an incredible job. The man who won, Jack Elliott from Australia, has been to the finals 9 times before.
